On Wednesday 11 May 2016 P6 planted trees along with Mr Dillon , Mrs Reid and Miss Freeburn . We planted Apple, Plum and Cherry trees .We had to dig a hole about 30cm deep to put the trees into. We used metre sticks and 30cm rulers to make sure the holes were deep enough to take the tree roots.
Mr Dillion planted one tree and Mrs Reid and Miss Freeburn planted the other one.We only got to see two being planted,because we had to go home .So Mr Dillon Mrs Reid and Miss Freebrun planted the rest. We planted them in the school garden, we had to spead the roots apart. Then we had to put root feed in the hole that smelt like cat litter.
We had to put a piece of wood called a steak to make it straight and put a cable tie it to the trees to make it not slant to the side. We are going to make apple pies and apple crumble once our first crop of delicious fruit is produced.

IF YOU POUR WATER WITH SUGAR IN IT, OVER THE APPLE TREES IT WILL MAKE THE APPLES SWEETER.
