You will never guess what happened on the 6th of April? Can’t guess? I will tell you then. P4 to P6 children and teachers started the day like any other morning. Then they were allowed to go to the cinema! A trip to the Movie House in Maghera to see a film. The trip was free and all of the pupils and even the teachers, got free popcorn and a drink.
We had to walk in the horrible rain but finally we got to the Movie House. When we arrived a lady allowed us to take a box with popcorn and a bottle of juice. Next we went into the movie room. The film for our trip was called James and the giant peach. Everyone enjoyed the film and the lovely free food!
When the movie finished the lights came on and everyone stood up to put their coats on. On the way out we put our rubbish in to the large bin.
Harry and Emma said a thank you to the lady on behalf of the children in Maghera Primary School P4 to P6 for this amazing trip. Emma thanked the lady for the very generous amount of food everyone got and the brilliant movie.
We then walked back to school in the pouring rain but with smiles on our faces and tummies full of popcorn!
