Maghera Primary School was very lucky. P6 and P7 got to go to see Grease in Sperrin. We were really really excited to be going. When the bus arrived everyone couldn't wait to get on and get going! On the way everyone chatted and were wondering what was going to happen.
The school seemed very big but very friendly. Older pupils told us where to sit and to enjoy the perfomance. The choir had some of our old pupils, Karla and Madision! The first half flew past and was really good. During the interval we went into a large hall and got drinks and even buns! Sperrin pupils looked after us, while the teachers had a cup of tea and one or two scones according to Mr Dillon.
After the interval it was time for the 2nd half! All of the pupils were friendly and pupils from other primary schools chatted to us as well. We really enjoyed the dancing and the songs! They all did really well.
The whole hall gave a massive clap at the end and cheered for Sandy and Danny! As we left the hall to get back on to the bus a surprise happened. At the end we got a goodie bag. In the bag we had a ruler, some sweets, a drink, a packet of crisps and a rubber.
We had great fun.
