Friday's fundraising Variety Concert, organised by Rev. Stewart on behalf of the local churches, was a great success. Numbers attending were small, but our audience enjoyed a great night's entertainment. Many thanks to The Curragh Silver Band, Mr George Shiels, Sophie Shiels and Miss Rowney and our school choir. Rev. Stewart was compere and auctioneer on the evening and kept us all entertained with his jokes and one liners. We raised a fabulous £2183 in total which will be used to purchase some ipads for the school. A huge thank you to Cunningham Covers for our publicity banner and for their continued financial support of the school, to Tobermore Concrete, McKeefrey's, St. Lurach's Church of Ireland and McKee's Menswear for their donation of money and to those who contributed auction items.
