We read 'An Apple A Day' this week. Amy and Paul went to visit their uncle's apple farm in Co. Armagh.
Following the reading we researched apple orchards on Newsdesk. We sorted and tasted all different coloured apples and even tried some cooking apples! We made a list of words to describe how the apples tasted. After checking to see if apples float or sink we stewed some apples and ate apple sauce on biscuits with apple juice.
We made a display of apple trees through the 4 seasons.
Who knew learning about apples could be so much fun !
